How do I Visitor Message?

I am going to people's Profile's and cannot type a VM. Alll it says is "No Message."? Is it because of the person's settings or something?

You have to go to their profile. And then go to the small tab that says visitor message.

I tried that, but when I got to the Tab all it said was, "No Message."? What does that mean? Do I have to click on it or something?

This is how you write a vistor message.
First, you go to the persons profile and click on statistics.
Next you scroll down to the catogry that says "visitor Message"
You will click on Send new message on profile
It is the last chocie.
It will appear as if you were writting a PM.
Then your done you wrote a visitor message!
